You can grow in faith

The Bible says “.For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. — (Eph.2:8–10)

Now let’s rightly divide this verse. (2 Tim. 2:15)

First, we are saved by Grace. Period. It is a gift from God, which we need to turn to Him to accept. We just need to ask. Just call on His name. Just confess Him as Lord. (Acts 2:21, Romans 10:9–10)

We do this through faith, not by works.

When we get saved God will work in us and through us to do the works he desires.

Now, the focus of this writing is Faith.

We are not saved by faith. We are saved by Grace.

See, faith can fall into a works based category.

People will say, “You don’t have enough faith.”

Even Jesus said, “Where is your faith?” ( Luke 8:25)

Understand that faith is a medium. It is a bridge. It’s like a phone line.

You can put faith in a rock. But that rock can’t save you.
