1. God created them perfect and gave them free will.

2. Death is not a punishment, according to God. He provided a means to avoid eternal death. Jesus Christ.

3. The curse is specific. Its purpose is to get humans to seek God. Therefore, avoiding eternal death.

4. God has a higher purpose. Saving all of humanity. The people who died could have just turned to God. The same as Rahab, the same as Nineveh, the same as you and me.

5. It is coercion. God doesn't care. If coercion saves souls, then so be it. He set up standards that we can't achieve, so that we will realize we need Him.

6. God being all powerful in the Bible is different than all powerful in philosophy or human standards. For example, God cannot lie.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. All God asks is for us to be his friend and let Him save us and give us a good life.

I have never encountered anything bad, with God. He hasn't harmed me. He has saved my life. I don't get the hatred. Everything God has asked me to do has turned for my good. Like quitting drinking, and other things.

The problem is that people do not try to know God. They get involved or encounter churches or Christians and decide to reject God. Trust me, church people have done more harm to me than anyone else on the planet. I get it.

But, through it all God was there. He has opened my eyes to the real things of Himself and His Word. Not the false teachings of preachers who never knew God.
